BCBA and RBT Jobs in Davie County, NC
Behavior analyst and behavior technician roles in Advance, Mocksville, Bermuda Run and the surrounding communities — community-based work now, and a center-based team forming for the ABA center opening in Advance.
What we are recruiting for here
An ABA center opens in Advance in January 2027. A center does not staff itself in its opening week, so we are recruiting the clinical team now — and in the meantime there is community-based work across Davie County to be done.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Assessment, programme design, and supervision of behavior technicians, with a caseload that is discussed with you before it is assigned. We expect you to tell us when a plan is not working, and we expect to act on it. Full-time and part-time are both real options here, not a consolation offer.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and behavior technician
Direct therapy with children, under scheduled supervision rather than supervision squeezed into whatever time is left. If you are not yet credentialed but have relevant experience, say so in your application — we would rather train the right person than wait for a certificate.
Where the work is
Advance sits on the Davie and Forsyth county line, which puts Clemmons, Lewisville, and the western edge of Winston-Salem inside a short drive, and Mocksville and Bermuda Run closer still. If you live anywhere in that triangle, this is local work rather than a commute you will resent in six months.
Community-based sessions happen in family homes, in partnering schools, in daycare and early-learning programmes, and in community settings where a child's goals actually apply. Center-based sessions happen in Advance. Which setting a child receives is a clinical decision, and which setting you work in is a conversation, not an assignment.

Questions candidates actually ask
Do I have to wait for the Advance center to open to start?
No. There is community-based work across Davie County and the surrounding counties right now. Starting before the center opens means you help shape how it runs rather than inheriting it.
Is there a drive, and is it paid?
Community-based work in this region means real drive time between sessions. Ask about mileage and travel time in your first conversation — we will answer it directly, with numbers, rather than leaving it to be discovered after you accept.
I am a BCBA elsewhere in North Carolina. Can I relocate into this role?
Yes, and we would rather know early. Tell us your timeline in the application; a planned move in a few months is useful information, not a disqualification.
I am pursuing RBT certification but do not have it yet. Should I apply?
Apply, and say where you are in the process. Relevant experience with children and a credible path to certification are worth a conversation.
What does supervision look like in practice?
Scheduled rather than improvised, and treated as part of the job rather than an overhead. If you are accruing fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification, ask about it specifically in your first conversation.
